In my next life, I would like to come back as one of my cats.  I was sitting in the sun on the deck today, letting the sun soak in (it’s a bit chilly today).  I was thinking I could really live the life of a cat:  soak up the sun all day, barely open my eyes to acknowledge when someone is speaking to me, then choose to ignore them.  WOW!  Wouldn’t that be great?  Not to mention sleeping alomsot 20 hours a day….I would relish just 5 total sleep thru hours :)  My cats lounge in the sun all day.  The only time they pay attention to me: feeding time and going to bed time.  My cats get a bit testy when it’s time for bed and I have not come to the bedroom.  It’s so funny to sit and watch them at the foot of the stairs, looking at me and meowing as if to say” excuse me, do you know it’s time for bed, we do need our kitty sleep”  Yep, the life of one of my 3 cats would be pretty nice next time around
